Collecting Seashells at the Beach
Previously, I've talked to you about my family's trip to the beach during our vacation. Well, now I've got a short essay to share with you called "Collecting Seashells at the Beach." Be sure to look for key words that emphasize the five senses (see, hear, touch, taste, smell). Enjoy!
Collecting Seashells at the Beach
written by Rachel
In August of this year, my family and I got the awesome privilege of going to the beach for vacation. We looked out at the glistening and sparkling ocean water as the sun hit it. We even enjoyed making footprints in the sand. The feeling of your toes being completely covered in sand is amazing. When we ventured into the water, I could hear the splash of my feet ~ pitter patter ~ against the waves. As we chatted on the beach, the seagulls chirped and quacked along with us. Then, we collected seashells, or better known as hidden gems stuck in the sand, with a wide variety of colors. Some were shades of purple, splashes of brown and golden yellow. Overall, my family and I made a memory I’ll never forget.

Rachel, God's glory surely was reflected in your essay about our time at the beach. I've never thought about considering how each of our senses were awed at God's creation there. No wonder it was such a great time! I will be more aware of all the senses from now on as I experience God's glory revealed all around us:) Love,
