A few months ago, I gave myself a Bible reading challenge: read 1 Psalm and 1 Proverb a day. I loved how encouraging and refreshing the time spent in God's Word was. And now, I'd like to share with you what precious gold I found in my daily devotions today.
"He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken. On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us." ~ Psalm 62:6-8

Thinking about those steady sure rocks (basically mountains) that we've seen and stood upon recently... what a wonder-filled metaphor of God's sure promises to us, His children. Great blog series, Rachel.
