In today's blog post, we get the opportunity to watch the progress
of the construction of the new building where hundreds of orphans
and abused children can have a safe, welcoming place to stay.
Back in June, when we were there, the plan was to open
in August.
On August 27, 2015, we got an e-mail saying that
the kids moved in!
What's so nice about this property is that it has
acres and acres of land where the kids
can play soccer, basketball, and volleyball.

Later that night, we ate dinner with the Alas 2 Home,
housing girls from 12-18 years old.
What a great blog post series capturing our time there, Rachel. It's good to reflect back on the amazing time we had there making friend in the Dominican Republic. I remember this dinner well, because it was the meal we had together after I had shared my story with the girls at Alas 2 and the young lady sitting next to me was particularly interested in spending more time with us. They were so friendly and I loved sharing dinner with them. God's glory has no borders, does it? #FaithGOER
